description of how a Solution Focused conversation/relationship
develops, thanks to the many people who have developed this idea.
The description goes that the client and helper walk side by side sight
seeing, discovering new avenues and new sites at a pace directed by the
client. If the client does not want to venture down a certain path then
we don't go there, the conversation helps the client develop new scenery
and landscape creating new possibilities led by respectfulness and
curiosity.
This approach to me feels much more resourceful than digging down on one
particular area and finding odd pieces of archeology whereby the
historical context may have been lost or maybe misrepresented by guess
work (although made with best intentions).
My views will without a doubt be based on my views and experiences and I
suppose some people will want to dig into their own past as they believe
answers may lurk here! From what I've picked up on my travels is that
maybe the client and helper will be doing a little sight seeing before
finding a spot to dig a little deeper and that current scenery will have
been built on past events.
