Constructing reality

I'm not clever enough to understand the philosphies of Wittgenstein and the in depth theories on social construction apart from the idea that what we perceive as reality is constructed through language (and story telling?).

So I guess with the advent of blogging and the casual reading of blogs has shaped (or further distorted) reality just as some academic writings distort reality, making theory look like fact!

Or does it?
